ENL RULES. Empty ENL RULES.

Post by [*DDA*]Ghost[HQ] Mon 05 Jan 2015, 11:36

1.1 - General rules

- No white skins and winter uniforms.
- No forced models.
- No rockets.
- No shotguns.
- No grenade rifles.
- Two snipers per team for 8vs8 or more and less then 8vs8 1 sniper(If play 6 vs 6 then one sniper per team).Though, should a sniper be shot, another player is welcome to pick up his/her gun.
- The team that wins the bash will have the right to choose both the map and the side they want to play first.
- Matches are first to five per side.
- Rounds must last five minutes. No less, no longer.

This league is known for good honest play and understanding between clans. If and when a problem arises, there must be no public posting about any issues you may find with another opponent. You must contact a ENL admin so any issues may be resolved in a proper manner.

All rules given must be run at the beginning of each game in full effect. Make sure the match is on time or at the agreed time, do not expect the ENL admins to make a decision on these matters halfway through a game, as it should have been brought up at the start.

All clans that battle in the ENL seasons should behave in a responsible and sporting manner. This league has thrived on trust and good manners, please keep this in mind and clan leaders/commanders keep their troops in line.

1.2 - Website clan profiles

- You must have your clan profiles totally up-to-date at all times.
- You must also add your members to your clan profile. Due to some clans having more than one squad in the competition, you must register your players in the league. You cannot play a player that is not listed in your clan profile. If a team is found fielding a player that is not listed in its clan profile, then that team will be punished with five rounds taken from their round total in that match. The opposing team will be rewarded those five rounds. The DSL admins will be very strict on this matter.

Example:

Team A 14 - 6 Team B

Team A was found fielding a player that is not listed on their clan profile. New score:

Team A 9 - 11 Team B

If you do not know how to register for your squad, then click https://enlmohha.board-directory.net/t4-how-register-your-clanto read a how-to.

1.3 - Duplicate Players
It has been bought to our attention recently that some players are playing for more than one team in ENL. There has not been a rule for this in the past as we saw it as something needing common sense more than anything.
It is totally unacceptable to be part of 2 clans. This is freelancing.
Now that this rule is in place, any players caught freelancing (and you will be caught) will be banned from this league. Any clan which is aware of this happening will be removed from ENL immediately.

1.4 - Clan representatives

Each clan has her own clan representative. Your tasks as a clan representative are to:

- Keep your clan updated/informed of polls and other news that is important to your clan;
- Check the forums multiple days a week - preferrably every day;
- Keep your colleague representatives updated on your clan's special happenings such as inactivity due to holidays, dropping out of the league or your own inactivity and who will take over your work (provide e-mail and MSN address!);
- You are the person that makes decisions on behalf of your clan, so make sure you discuss matters with them!
-You are also the one who should update the teamroster. Every clan who's having a player in their team who's not signed up will loose the match.

2 – Match rules

2.1 - Teams

- The default team size for matches is six( 6 ) players per side. However, we do recommend matches to be of higher numbers such as eight or even ten players per side.
- When a match is arranged for a 8 vs 8 but it turns out (on the day of the match) that one team only has 6 players. The match will be played 6 vs 6, unless any other agreement is made by both clans.
-If for example, a team only can get 5, the other team have the right to play with 6, if they have them, and do a 5v6 match!
- Teams are restricted to have one sniper per team for each game. But when a match is played with at least 8 players then two snipers are allowed.
- If a player from the opposing team has been banned from your server for justifiable reasons, e.g. recruiting or swearing, they will be ineligible to play. However, the ENL admin(s) may ask for proof of the reason for the ban if the opposing team believe the ban is not fair. A decision will be made by ENL admin(s) based on information received from both sides.

Player changing clans
If a player changes clan, that player can not play in his new clan versus any other clan he has played against in his old clan. Also he can not play the weeks that he already played.

2.2 - Allowed maps

- In a seperate section on the forum you can find the list of allowed maps during a particular season. If there are any uncertainties regarding a map, please contact a ENL admin.

- Each clan picks one map;
- Clans are free to choose which maps they want to play. There are no set maps per match week;
- Playing a map that is not on this list will result in a 20-0 forfeit loss to the team that chose that map;
- If both teams pick a map that is not on the list, then the match will be entered as a 0-0 draw if it is in the pool stages. Is the match in the final stages, then it will be replayed;

2.3 - Match fixtures

--The week match goes from Monday to the following Sunday.
- If a match arranger cannot reach their opposition's match arranger say for the match in week 1, he will post on the ENL forums at the end of week 1 (Sunday) and the opposition then has 24 hours to reply and get it arranged or it will be an automatic forfeit.
- Each match have its set week. However, if agreed by both clans the match can be played in any other time. if this does not cause too much delay.. With this we hope to ensure a smoother running league and where clans still have time to play their matches.

2.4 - Match times

- The default time for a ENL match to start is 20:05;
- The server is to be opened for the opposing team five minutes before the start time. In the default situation that would be 20:00.

These are just indications/guidelines. Both clans can agree to any time they would like to play the match.

- After the arranged start time, teams have a window of twenty minutes maximum to start the match.
- The match will start no later than twenty minutes after the start time (in this case 20:05 + 00:20 = 20:25) and will start with how many players are on the server at that time.
- If the opposing team fail to arrive by this time, the home team wins 20-0.
- Any change of time must be agreed in advance between the two clans.
- Please have all your client and server side requirements ready so the game can go ahead smoothly on time.
- You will be required to play some away matches as well as home;
- If one of the teams wants to reschedule a match, the opponent must be warned 24 hours before the previously scheduled time and a new date & time must be arranged.

2.5 - Match results

- After a match has been played, the representative of one of the clans should post the result in the ENL Results and Matches forums, regardless of who won the match.
- Please post the result by the official ENL result posting template, found here.
- This post must be followed up by the other team, confirming the result.

2.6 - Most Valuable Player

We are managing a Most Valuable Player (MVP) award.

The MVP award is an individual prize awarded to the player who is an asset to their team in these league matches.

This is voted on by your own Team Captain who has a better view into who is most deserving.

MVP is not totally based on the amount of kills you have as it may be a player's tactical awareness that causes the other team difficulties.
Below is a list of reasons why you may vote a player MVP:

- Total amount of kills
- An excellent rush
- Excellent show of tactical awareness (this can be something to do with setting a bomb or saving a round by time-out)
- Someone who appears an asset to your team - more than usual
- Someone who is generally making it harder for the opposing team

Please bare all these points in mind when choosing your team's MVP.

2.7 - Pool stages

- The qualifying teams will be the first four of each pool.
- If there are teams that ended the pool stages with the same amount of points and rounds, then those teams should play a match with one map only, decided by the ENL admins.
- If that match ends in a draw, then the custom map St. Lô will be played as the second map.
- If that map ends in a draw, then a bash should decide the match. This match should always be refereed by a ENL admin.

2.8 - Final stages

If a match in the final stages ends in a tie (10-10) after both maps, then V2 Rocket Facility will be played as the third map. If V2 Rocket Facility was already played during the match then a ENL admin should be contacted and he/she will decide what map will be played. The third map is not for the clan to choose, it is a decision made by the ENL admin. If the third map ends in a tie too, then the match must be rescheduled for another day. If the second match ends in a draw too after the two maps, then V2 Rocket Facility will again be played as the third map If V2 Rocket Facility was already played during the match then a ENL admin should be contacted and he/she will decide what map will be played. If the third map ends in a tie too, then a bash should decide the match.
The ENL final will be refereed. The ENL TeamSpeak will be opened up to anyone who wishes to get play by play scores as the match is being played. Do not ask or expect to be told how the match is going or any information on team tactics.
The ENL referee has the right to kick anyone who he deems is carrying out unsporting behaviour.

3– Server configuration

3.1 - Clan servers

- The average ping for visiting clans to your server must be within the 1-120 ping region. If you find that one or two of your players are over that then you cannot protest. If half of your team are over this region then you must find an alternative server to play the match or you can decide to play a map on one server each.
- If your server is unable to host a ENL match within proper playing conditions then you must change server to a more levelled playing ground. It is neither the fault of the visiting clan nor the fault of ENL
that your server is not under playable conditions.
- If your clan's country is having a bad provider day then the opposing clan is expected to show good sportsmanship and reschedule to another date or find a neutral server.

Please make sure you have this rule in your mind whilst entering a server for a match, the ENL admin will be swift to make a decision on this if it is ever contested.

3.2 - Server side and client side modifications

Server side:

- MPSH 3.0 is the official realism of ENL and must be used for all of your ENL games;
-The bugnade fix will not be used in any ENL match. ENL is collaborating with Spearhead Leagues (SL*) on this rule.
- All servers must run game compatibility to check that clients are using Medal of Honor Allied Assault: Spearhead and not Medal of Honor Allied Assault: Breakthrough.
- Inactive spectator kick must be turned off.
- Teamkill kick limits should be set to a minimum of eight or preferably turned off.

Client side:

If any of your clan members uses a mod in a match that is not in the approved ENL mod pack, then you risk your clan having to forfeit that match. Below (3.2.1) is a list of which modifications are allowed.

If these checks are not completed at the start of each match and/or map, it could affect the end result of the match.

Failure in following these server side and/or client side rules will result in a 20-0 forfeit win to your opponent.

- The edge on the big wall opposite of school/breach house and corner house is not allowed. It is considered to be roofing.

- There will be no land sharking or going outside of the accepted confines of the map;

Failing to meet these conditions will lead to your team forfeiting that round or forfeiting the entire match 20-0. ENL admins will be called to make judgment if required.

4 – Final word
The ENL team have worked hard for this new season to be almost perfect. The rules must be followed exactly. We will not make any exception regardless of whichever clan you are.
Please obey the rules and make sure these rules are read thoroughly!
The ENL admins reserve the right to change these rules at any point as they deem fair.
